i am here appearing on behalf of chairwoman eddie bernice johnson in support of the science and technologyovisions contained in the build back better act. i would like to offer my remarks for the record as well as for them, by the science and technology committee that have been providing an outline of the investments being made. to summarize my remarks, there are investments in a number of different sections dealing with the department of energy. primarily on the office of energy efficiency and renewable energy. there is components dealing with sustainability and conservation and in a variety of ways, uranium. there is investment in the environmental protection agency, air quality and limit research. there is wildfire management prevention. investment in the federal emergency management agency as well as the national science foundation, nasa. there are substantial investments in nasa, revitalizing nasa's infrastructure which has become dated over the last 60 years. we invest in the future of aviation. again, assistance in resources. we provide resources for assessing and mitigating climate
