joining us now professor at princeton university eddie glaude jr., our friend and important voice on s war is creating real rifts in congress but also on college campuses. we're hearing about more and more incidents targeting muslim and jewish students. what can be done to protect the students and free speech? >> well, first of all, so good to see you, jonathan. i think we have to understand this is a very difficult time. peoples lives, families are at stake here. the conflict cuts to the heart of some deep historical rifts. we have to acknowledge the horror of october 7th. we have to acknowledge in some ways at the same time the horror we're seeing on the ground in gaza, one of the most densely populated areas in the country. and for the most part across college campuses, jonathan, that tension,he difficulty of the conversation is happening. it's happening in relation civilly for the most part. in some instances it's uncivil, but we have to understand and we have to remember there are over 4,000 four-year colleges and universities in the country. over 4,000. and we're hearing tension
