and we also resold some of the power that we purchased to edf trading? >> who is edf. >> they were historically electricity de france. >> i'm sorry? >> they are french? >> yes. >> okay. >> originally. >> and then our power purchases, what kind of power did we buy? was it renewable? was it fossil fuel-based? ? >> so we were typically in this era making system purchases, so particular facilitis are not identified when you make a system purchase. i can tell you for some -- for most of please entities it would be a blend of fossil and non-fossil resources that they would be relying on. >> and was that a consideration by the public utilities commission or that was just done to purchase what is made in-house without their approval of your board, your commission? >> staff has the authority to make necessary transactions to meet our electricity needs on a short-term basis. these were all transactions within the discretion that is exercised by staff. we have historically made specific purchases from specified resources and in particular we made purchases of geoth

so the four proposals were received by edf group, san francisco power, mrw associates llc and enernex llc. our panel consisted of not only sfpuc, but a member of the department of the environment and lafco staff member, as well as an outside member from the sonoma energy authority. as a result of the scoring, we had pretty much unanimously recommended enernex to do most of the tasks. they were -- they are an international group. they are based in many cities and overseas. they are an electric power and engineering consulting firm that has staff both locally and of course as i said overseas. as part of our rfp, i just want to just rereiterate what we are looking for, universal access and equitable treatment and providing 100% renewable and energy-efficiency and installations. so on our enernex proposal, they have been engaged in multi-year solar and wind generation program for many of the investor-owned utilities, san diego gas and electric, including los angeles department of water and they have been consultants for the california energy commission and awarded the 2013 project managem

many of those -- most of those are of california-based suppliers such as calpine, recurrent, edf is building a project for us in kings valley right now under a project labor agreement, i should mention. that will be 30 megawatts and that will be coming online in the next year. as far as local projects, we're working with the richmond port to build a one megawatt sewer facility that we will own. this will be the first project that is part of our portfolio as an owned project. we're also working on a [speaker not understood] shade structure at a nonprofit organization, a research facility in novato called [speaker not understood] institute. we have a number of feed and tariff projects that are in the hopper. we have one that was built over a year ago at the san rafael airport, one megawatt project on 48 airport hangars in san rafael. we have three other feed and tariff projects that are very close to being finalized. one will be feeding our socials program. we have over 2000 net energy metering customers and we pay a premium to customers that are in that program. we actually allow them to cash
