we are here near the grave site area of edgar allen poe, the poe toaster has been a faithful visitor for decades and you know what, he usually shows up anywhere between midnight and 5:30 a.m. this morning, we have a few people that are out here. they have been out here since midnight faithful followers. you can see them lined up speaking through the gates there trying to see if we can see anything. but last year, and a couple years, he's been a no show. this year we are still waiting to see if he turns up. again, we have until 5:30 but so far, he's been a no show this morning. but there have been about 3 impostors i am told by the curator. the poe toaster has paid a visit to poe's grave in honor of the write are's birthday, which is -- writer's birthday which is today. he he leaves and conyeah and fans gather to honor his birthday. we have fred joining us from bowie and tell me, why do you come out every year? >> i am really not certain. it's just intriguing. i saw the original poe toaster twice. >> reporter: wow you saw him and i understand he is so sneaky but you got to see him. >>
