(applause) el centro bayview will be a place of community, a place where families can grow and thrive and children can reach their dreams. when we open the resource center we're telling the administration we will not back down from our values here in san francisco. we will stand strong, we will stand proud, we will continue to do all we can to put the resources into resource centers like this that are going to continue to support our families. this is so important. this is a major step in the right direction and i'm so grateful to our many community partners who make this work possible, the ones in the trenches doing the work working with our communities and families and at this time i want to bring up sam reese for some comment.
