as we do not have an el nino year. so good news there but of course any front that comes through sometimes brings squally weather. this will not. 60s now, nice and cool. even cooler. in fact we've dropped the dew points a little bit. the dry air on top of us sinking down and really taking over the scene. so it's going to be even hard air will be bumping into that dry air up above. and we still have the easterly winds. so a few clouds, that is about it. temperatures in the upper 60s in south florida. low 60s to the north. the pocket of really cold air is still well to the north and west. obviously we have a couple of days to get through, even in the east today. eastern seaboard will be seeing temperatures above average for this time of year. so we have fall and then of course we have winter trying to take over and has done so, ju in the 30s, 20s of course in many areas there. for us it won't be that chilly but we'll be cooler than, certainly we've seen so far this season since last -- our cool season. so dropping back o

it was a strong el nino year and we didn't see much through october. it has been a big start. most of the bay area, including san jose, thanks to the wettest day since march last friday. you can see 200% to 400% of average. that was last year. almost nothing around the bay area certainly well above the average. all this doesn't include one more system to come later this evening. the main concern after all that rain is patchy fog. you see that around santa rosa down to 1/4 mile this morning. which mentioned the snow in the sierra. you can see up towards interstate 80 and highway 50, that's where the last remnants of our weakened storm firing up snow showers across the sierra. around the bay area, a few light showers. sunset comes up at 6:11 tonight. you might have to include a little bit of rain. south bay may not have a whole lot. certainly areas from the peninsula northward will deal with rain showers by 7:00. it looks like spotty showers around san jose south. as we head through the rest of the evening into tomorrow morning, this system moves through quickly. mid morning tom
