so elevators. there has really been a lot of good activity surrounding elevator access and i want to give the mayor's disability council some of the really good credit about those conversations because the hearings you have devoted over the last two years and your housing resolution really helped to raise awareness about the critical role that an elevator access plays in keeping our existing accessible affordable housing functional. and as we have heard in testimony both here and in other places elevator access has been especially challenging in older buildings, including the housing authority properties. and also the single-room occupancy hotel rooms. and of course, what happens is when these older buildings go out of service, for maintenance and for repairs, then residents lose the ability to get in or out of their homes, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days, sometimes for even longer. so i really want to acknowledge the amazing work that the council has done about this issue, but also our adv

so our job here is to make a dual-door elevator that serves both buildings and get the other two elevators back in good service. the elevators were beyond their functional life span. we hope to have this project completed within next fiscal year, 2015 before christmas. very critical to get that job done. another project that is the last of our clinics to add an elevator in is maxine hall. there have been over nine that our office has put money in. there are 12 different clinics in the system throughout the city and one of the things, -- many of these projects are partnerships with the department of public health and in some we have paid for the entire project to get through the front door, get to the check-in desk, the public restrooms, get through to the back clinical areas, the restroom and examine room and drinking fountains and exam room in each functional area, whether it's dental, medical or prenatal. we did one very smart thing, adding an elevator in all the two-story buildings. the second floors used to be occupied by storage. so we're very proud of that program. and i did mention

it is a reasonably large unit to be serviced by one elevator when they access the second floor it's a more public point of access. i leave it with those questions and while i support the project i know it needs nor refinement and i agree with the west facing lawn. i'd like to see a little bit more definition in that wall i think it sunshine could be done with the material your using to make it maybe not articulated but some break up so there is lines in there that is give is more definition perhaps a little bit darker color might help. and with regards in the parking on the second floor i think we're trying to support on existing business that requires it to be cars and those cars are going to be operated mostly on the main floor and the residential parking on the second; is that correct. so i'm not exactly sure it has to go somewhere it is hidden from view it looks like it's masked by the outside of the building so this is fine with me. and then also i suggest that we try to make the corn in his of the two adjacent building and at the very a top we have before the set back if we ca
