newsmakers interviewed the top democrat on the house foreign affairs committee, congressman eliot engel. they asked about new developments over a bill on russia's sanctions. the senate passed a bill that has been stalled in the house for quite a while. this morning, minority leader pelosi mentioned democrats are willing to drop their procedural objections over their own power in the bill to let it and forward. that would be a big development. is that true, and what sparked the change? >> let me first of all say what i did was put in a bill that married the word -- that bill passed by the u.s. senate by 9 - 8-2. even though there are certain things perhaps i would have liked to change, i thought the bill thato take the the senate passed, put it into my bill, hopefully pass it in the house and get a bill which would have sanctions on russia, sanctions on russia for interfering in our elections, sanctions on a ron for terrorism -- iran for terrorism and ballistic missiles. all of a sudden we are gearing this bill is not good enough. there have to be certain changes made. we don't want to p
