her 16-year-old daughter elisa will be a graduating senior next year. >> this was her fun year, her last year. >> reporter: days after the archdiocese of baltimore said it was forced to close the school because of deep debt and low attendance, parents and students took to the school's campus to protest. they scurried to find alternatives weeks before the new school year and scrambled to start fnd raisers to save towson catholic. it was then windsor decided to take legal action. it was a battle she thought they could win. >> we were suing the archdiocese. they're big and strong. >> reporter: windsor and another parent filed two lawsuits. one to block the school's closing and another to keep the school open. windsor says towson catholic breached a contract. >> they voided my contract. that's where we figured we had a leg to stand on. >> reporter: a county judge sided with the school keeping it closed. this week, windsor agreed not to pursue the fight and her daughter is preparing to attend mercy high school in the fall but she still wants answers from the school. >> what goes around comes
