"we will not leave," he says, "we can't." "even if they destroy our homes, where will we go, with a family of five or six?" multiple families are now packed into apartments after their homes were destroyed, but they say it's not safe to move south. elise labbott, great to have you want. thank you forjoining us tonight.en hearing, the situation on the ground in gaza is getting worse by the day with the un warning that gaza's health system is on the verge of collapse. well, earlier my colleague caitriona perry spoke with doctor natalia kanem, executive director of the united nations population fund about the effect this humanitarian crisis is having on pregnant women. we are seeing images coming out of gaza of small babies in intensive care units in hospitals that are under evacuation orders or almost out of fuel and supplies. what is the latest situation on the ground as you are aware of it? terrible humanitarian catastrophe in the making. the big concern, especially for unfpa that works with pregnant women is opening the humanitarian access corridors and ensuring the people who are really in distress that may be in hospital are protected and they are safe and they don't have to move. what is the situation like at the moment for pregnant women in gaza? working within gaza, we know there are well over

for more on all of this now, we're joined by elise labbott and rod d'amico, retired fbi agent and hostage rescue team member. good to see both of you. this newly released hostage that she went through hell, she was closely guarded the whole time, that the groups of hostages were separated in what was described as a spider web of tunnels. how much do you think could her account help israeli intelligence? >> immensely. unfortunately, though, hostages in the tunnel is probably one of the worst places you would have -- put a rescue attempt in. i think it also goes back to they really need to know, to negotiate. try to rescue groups of hostages, each hostage has one guard per hostage is just an incredibly hard thing to even come off. so i think it is putting more pressure on israel that they're going to have to negotiate and not be able to rescue them. >> two rounds of hostage releases, each time two people, two women specifically. what do these releases do for the short-term in the region? >> well, i think in the short-term in the region it is going to give more hope that this process, which
