elizabeth has more on what riders should do. elizabeth? >> all service is halted.ident on the capitol corridor line. so all service stopped as of about 15 to 20 minutes ago when this accident happened near the tracks. near the richmond albany border we also just learned that there are major injuries involved with this crash. so likely an investigation is going to have to go on, as well. as you can see from this map, this accident happened really close to the 580 and 80 freeways. traffic not impacted on either freeway so you may see some activity because the tracks run parallel through the area. again, the big story if you ride amtrak, all service has been stopped on the capitol corridor line. elsewhere, at the bay bridge, traffic is not too bad. it's hard to tell from this shot but it's only backed up to the end of of the first overcrossing. so only maybe 10, 15-minute waited to get on the bridge. overall looking good for a friday and 880 through oakland not too bad at all through here. nice and light into downtown oakland. that's your traffic. here's tracy with yo

elizabeth wenger has traffic. >> thank you, tracy. has been exceptionally quiet morning commute so far at least since 5:00 since we got on the air. there have not been any hot spots and right now i'm not seeing any accidents that healthcare healthcare is working so nice ride up the nimitz freeway. i want to show you a live look at the coliseum north- and southbound great into downtown oakland. there is a little bit of slowing on our sensors from a street towards whipple but nothing unusual. 22 minutes from the altamont pass to the dublin interchange. a camera at tassajara towards dublin, like i said, usual slowdowns. metering lights now at the bay bridge have been on since 6:20. so it's holding steady backed up to the 880 overcrossing. about a 15-minute to 20-minute wait to get on the bridge but not even seeing any slowdowns on the sensors up the incline so so far a nice ride into san francisco. chopper 5 is with us. and they are showing us another life look at westbound 580 traffic. there is the time to leave if you don't want to get

elizabeth smart said her kidnapper tried to use religion to justify rape. utah woman wrapped up her testimony today against brian david mitchell. investigators say he grabbed young elizabeth smart from her bedroom when she was but 14 years old. elizabeth smart says after he performed a fake religious marriage, he spent the next nine months raping her nearly every day. and today she told the court that he used god in an attempt to justify his actions. for that, she called out mitchell as a hypocrite saying god would never tell somebody to kidnap a young girl from her family's home in the middle of the night, and continue to rape her and sexually abuse her. kris gutierrez has been following this very disturbing case and he is live with us in salt lake city. chris, elizabeth smart also told a story today of how she tried to send a message for help at one point. >> yeah, you are exactly right, shepard. she testified that she had to use the restroom one afternoon so mitchell's wife actually took her to the hard rock cafe here in salt lake city and once inside th
