but we do know that elizabeth holmes will be in court at 10 o'clock this morning. this is her last ditch effort to try to stay out of prison while she appeals is because if she is not granted that then she has to report to a texas prison on april. 27 elizabeth holmes. 39 years old. well, she was convicted last year of defrauding investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars. she was the ceo of theranos, a company that promised to do all kinds of blood tests with a couple of drops of your blood. but that did not deliver as promised, according to prosecutors. and they say that she knew that but still as investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars to pump into her company. at one point it was worth 9 billion dollars. now she was convicted. she will serve 11 years in prison if this plays out, according to prosecutors and they wanted about 16 to 17 years in prison. but they got 11 years, according to lawyers for elizabeth holmes and homes or south. she says that she should be allowed to stay home while this process plays out because one, she claims that she is n
