elizabeth wenger has been looking at traffic around the bay area. elizabeth. >> thanks, ken. i got to say it's still not as bad as this morning. the worst appears to be over so far. of course it is still early. typically it's kind of "friday light" on a friday afternoon. not the case today. traffic is definitely a little bit busier than usual especially coming up new yor 101 -- northbound 101. they are all trying to get home heading towards the lower deck of the bay bridge. the on-ramps where ken was sterling street, harrison and first street on-ramps are backed up. avoid th embarcadero as well because of critical mass at justin herman plaza. we have america's cup concert series at pier 27. so the backups on 101 begin at alemany. it's also jammed up on eastbound 580 and eastbound 24. bart so far we have not heard about any problems. but there are speed restrictions at least for the eastbound trains so right now we are getting word of about 10- minute delays getting out of san francisco heading towards the east bay. so from what we can tell, it's busy but i think a lot of folk

kpix 5's elizabeth wenger is here to talk about changes on the way. elizabeth? >> i hope you enjoyed it today. it's hard to believe with all the sunshine and blue skies we could be talking about bringing the umbrellas back out of the closet but it's true. we have a rainmaker coming our way. high pressure is weakening as we speak over the bay area but right now temperatures are already in the mild side. santa rosa still at 88 degrees and 73 in oakland and 83 is what you're clocking in right now at heyward. so we are closely watching a couple low pressure systems. one in the northwest and another out over the pacific. and the biggest difference you'll notice tomorrow. the clouds and the cooler temperatures. today, some places reached into the 90s. not the case tomorrow. highest temperatures in our inland spots are only going to be in the mid- to upper 70s and a chance of some rain light rain tomorrow. likely in the later half of the day and pretty much sticking tot north bay. but -- to the north bay. but then move further south spreading around the entire bay area
