and only three at elkton. i have a feeling the wind gauge is not working. 13 in oakland. we have a breeze. chilly temperatures. winds will calm down tonight. all because of big area of low pressure spinning over here. and it's dragging cold air, from hudson's bay in central canada, across the great lakes. when picking up moisture. and you can see the rain showers. now, in a couple of weeks, when you have these colder temperatures, these will be snow showers. we'll see plenty of that, i'm sure. as the lakes are warm, the cold water, excuse me, the cold air over the lakes, picks up that moisture and there you see those showers. when these expect to develop here across upper michigan, that will cross our region tomorrow afternoon. that means we'll have a chance. we'll see the clouds bending up. maybe a brief shower tomorrow afternoon. it remains on the cool side as high pressure and that low up to the north combine to bring that cool air in. eventually, to the end of the week, that high will cool us off. winds come southwest. warmer air starts riding over the cool air. warm

we do have calm winds around central maryland and we have a 4-mile per hour wind in elkton. and some double digits. 12 down in ocean city. both coming in from the east. now this is what we had roll through here yesterday. how that all started to die out and we started to clear out. all that rain is simply out of here. what we are watching is a system that is pushing in from the west and as you see, it is right at our doorstep. the clouds ahead of it steaming into the region. we have rain down in the southeastern edge of ohio. the ohio valley. west virginia, and now the southern edge, south western edge of virginia. all starting to move in this direction, but nothing here just yet. this rain does pack a punch with it. as it gets the direction overnight, we are going to see the potential for some really heavy rain involved. we could see some flash flooding as a result. nothing here just yet and it looks like the overnight hours will be the optimum time. your sunrises at 6:59. the small craft advisory remains -- at 15 knotts. your next high tide is at 12:54. i put this in here
