you're clearing out in harford county and elkton and cecil county. you'll have run off. you can see the streams and the low lying areas continuing. you can see the activity crossing the chesapeake. there's mighty wild weather down here. probably the most intense storm is this one. you can see the storm cell with widespread lightning and northern caroline county, head indoors, you'll have a good hour of lightning and potentially flooding rains. >>> we'll show you the flash flood watch. it continues into baltimore. this is for the rest of the evening. the counties will be taken out of the watch from west to east. you can see the rain totals. that's impressive. it took an hour or two to put down two inches of rain. it's still coming down here in middletown. a lot more to go in that direction. take a look at the conditions in the inner harbor. still cloudy. the rain is letting up. 73 at bwi. that's after topping out in the upper 80s to 90s. the rain cooled us off and the rains cleared directions. look at the rain cooling here. the last four or five days, we've seen 90 plus.

around 3:00 when two it to three men broke through the door of this row home in the 1600 block of elkton's lane. they i.d.'d themselves as baltimore police officers, bound and gagged a male and female, ram sacked the home and only got away with a cell phone. >> we are concerned. these individuals are coming in at all hours claiming to be a warrant unit identifying themselves as baltimore police officers and immediately people identify and they have a trust for the police officers. at first their guard is put down and quickly this couple realized these individuals were up to no good. >> this is the second crime in a week in the city. june 27 in northeast baltimore police say suspects kicked in the door of a home in the 1500 block of medford road identifying themselves as police. a male victim was shot. in federal hill we spoke with one victim off camera about the incident. he was too afraid to use his voice on camera. he said the suspects used a crowbar to burst down the door and he swore that he had a gun pointed at his head. police say they will step up patrols as they worry about trust i

line of storms from philadelphia to elkton, north of dover. south of baltimore now, southeast of washington. and you see the activity is moving off nicely now to the east. so you folks, unfortunately, on the eastern shore and southern maryland, you're had the next in line. around the city now, north of downtown, it has ended. heavier showers east of the city. from middle river, perry hall, down to northern a.a. county. west of the city, as you can see, that is the end of the shower activity. west of butler. severna park and annapolis park. east of d.c. and actually, much of p.g. county, going to be shortly into portions of charles county, severe thunderstorm warnings for you folks. that's where the strongest activity now is easton, where it's still 90 degrees. this has the potential to cause very strong storms. upper eastern shore, middle eastern shore. and that stuff continues to move off to the east and southeast. from the city now, north and west, some breaks in the cloud cover already. as you can see, that's the end of the rain. i do expec

across the state, we have 83 in oakland. 90 in cumberland. 91 in elkton. and 84 down in ocean city.ent river in the mid-80s as well. we have mid-90s straight across the central portions of the state. and 86 down on kent island. we have been seeing the winds picking up just a little bit. very light winds and almost a calm reading around noon or so. and then we start to see them pick up as whiffles of low pressure have been riding along that front. that is draped just across the state at this hour. we see double digits coming in. and we're tapping in that warmer air. look at these temperatures down near dallas. 100 degrees, 94 down on the bayou. and 91 in atlanta. that's what we are starting to feel. what we have is a front that has been stationary that is just below the station. it's draped right across the mason-dixon line almost. and going from the ocean into the ohio river valley. they do have another front approaching from the west/northwest. that is going to be here tomorrow. the combination of those two fronts and the strengths of all of that lifts that they are going to start
