ellen lee zhou is in the department of public health. >>> we have a trouble spot in walnut creek. a traffic alert is issued for southbound 680 right at main street. they have two lanes shut. an accident involving a dump truck, the dump truck spilled mud in the freeway. so a lot of debris and traffic in the area. so it is affecting your drive time this morning. if you are travel southbound 680 from willow pass road at least down to highway 24, that will take you 12 minutes now. so an extra 7 minutes for your drive time there. speeds down to about 7 miles per hour in some spots. so very slow and go conditions. two lanes shut down south 680 right before highway 24. if you want to avoid those delays, use bart. that's a great alternate. all trains are on time. no troubles for ace, muni or caltrain. that's a good choice also. >>> it is not clear as far as your skies are concerned. taking a live look out at the transamerica pyramid you can see see the tip-top of the "salesforce" tower. that is keeping temperatures in san francisco insulated. 46
