the all-nighter for elvis happening now in memphis. discovery of two bodies in upper marlboro as a murder-suicide. around 8:30 last night, an officer went to a home on new acadia lane for a "wellbeing check." the officer discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. they each had gunshot wounds. it's unclear who the shooter was. we spoke last night with talita zimmerman, a friend of the female victim. zimmerman says her friend and the friends's boyfriend ran track together in high school and college.. and they rekindled their relationship ago. zimmerman says she was unaware of any ongoing issues. new information about the explosion and fire at the flower branch apartments in silver spring.. the bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives is out with a new report. it says federal investigators found a disconnected vent pipe in the building's meter room. that's where they believe the natural gas explosion that killed seven people last august originated. but the report says the cause of the explosion and fire is still undetermined.
