on the maps, northbound 880 approaching 5th and embarcadero.e have taken several calls from the kcbs phone force including pat, letting us know that traffic is beginning to stack up. sounds like traffic is only getting by in the two right lanes as you head up towards downtown oakland. one of those cars hit some kind of container filled with liquid so again we are hearing that traffic is stacked up about a quarter mile and growing. we have a camera, the closest camera near the coliseum and so far traffic is moving fine past hegenberger but again, once you get closer towards 5th, embarcadero, that's when we are hearing that there are delays. also, mass transit note. if you use the alameda harbor bay ferry, mechanical issues and right now there is no service for the alameda harbor bay ferry. everything else bart, ace, muni metro, caltrain, everything on mass transit is on time. south bay no problems here, as well. everything is nice and quiet out of downtown san jose in the northbound lanes of 280. and a quick check of the ride out of the altamont
