according to chp officials the started northbound 1 01 near the embarcadero accenexit. ng a tire and the chp car pulled in from the white truck to help him out. a mini van traveling northbound clips the rear end of the chp car striking it and tumbling over. flipping through the air and you can see right there and ultimately a jet did it to of six passengers that were inside the mini van. -- ejected one of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene but the other was airlifted out of the area. the rest of the people as well as the officer was transported to a nearby hospital. you can see the debris is feeling across 1 01. they say will be several hours of investigative work. traffic is just creeping by and the far left lane. once again chp officers vehicle struck and six people inside the minivan that struck it. one person was not pronounced dead and the officer was not suffering from life- threatening injuries but was taken to the hospital. >> so what these police officer pulled over to help the person at changing the tire and got clipped. ? >> yes i'm trying to be a

started at 6:45 this morning with a work truck that was pulled over on the shoulder northbound 101 at the embarcadero exit. the driver trying to fix a flat tire on the truck. a chp officer in a patrol car comes up to help. they exchange words and the offic officer pulls over into front of the truck. then the gold suv lexus hit the rear of the patrol car and flipped several times. two people were ejected, including the 24-year-old, this is a family from san bruno. >> a family of six, mother and father in the driver's seat and passenger's seat. dad was driving. the four passengers are all daughters. two of the daughters were ejected. one suffered major injuries. the other sustained fatal injuries. >> reporter: the chp officer suffered minor injuries. luckily he had his seatbelt on in that car. it's believed those in the suv had their seatbelts on. officers are unclear what is going on with the two that were thrown from the car. the injuries are critical to minor and all transported to the hospital. investigators told me they found shopping bags from the scene. it is unclear if they were shopping on bla

let's get a look at your traffic would george >> the nimitz freeway northbound or the last problem was of this evil vehicle at embarcadero blocking the right hand lane traffic is still behind schedule at the 238 interchange. drive times have dropped by a minute or two but nearly 40 minutes out of san leandro into downtown oakland. otherwise the bay area has not had a rough ride this morning. let unusual traffic. the bay bridge has no back up here from the last hour and 45 minutes. the san mateo bridge had a brief slowdown with an accident reported there but the drive times never went above 12 minutes. that is a very normal ride. good news here. the golden gate bridge there was a little flesh of traffic about 20 minutes ago but right now looks pretty good. it is typical for a friday with a little more traffic and the two northbound lanes. >> police and on view are expecting to make more arrests after finding a drug lab in two apartment complexes. the los gatos like team and other agencies found heroin math and marijuana and apartments on bush street near castro street. they discover the first lab in the bay area and need
