a child died in a crash on eastbound 80 in emeryville.... police say a green ford pickup lost control on the berkeley curve just west of the emeryville exit around nine 45 this morning. the pick-up spun out and came to a stop... blocking a lane. a white ford s-u-v then lost control and collided with the pick-up. the crash killed one of the passengers, who is a minor, in the s-u-v. the victims name and age have not been released. ( jr stone ) at least one person has died after a car rolled over along a highway in marin county. it happened around 9-30 this morning on southbound 101 near spencer avenue. the crash caused lanes to be closed for two hours. traffic was backed up all the way to highway one in mill valley. officers have not said how many people or cars were involved in the crash.
