emily cohen again it's an honor to be here today and i'm going to be sharing shah raoen's director's report which will cover some of the data points and programmatic points. we additionally tried to incorporate answers to many of the questions we received last month from commissioners into the presentation. i want to start with some exciting news on the staffing front. we are very excited to announce that we have hired lisa as the new director of shelter and out reach at shs, lisa has been with the team for many years and has been an acting role for several months and we were thrilled that she was willing to take this on permanently. she is a clinician, she is worked with the homeless out reach team, she was a medical social worker with the department of disability and aging services and she has a career really centered on the lives of people experiencing homelessness behavioral health crisis and has always championed their best interest and needs within the city bureaucracy and it's a real honor to have her take this leadership role and we're excited for what she will achieve as par

their coach, emily cohen called the ongoing controversy a really complex and emotional situation.cnn's camila bernal has been following this story. camilla, fill us in on what's going on here. >> so the game starts in about 20 minutes. jess and colorado state will play san jose state. the problem here is that san jose state did not even play their semifinal game. and that's because they were set to play against boise state. and boise state decided to boycott the game. it was actually not the first time that they refused to play against san jose. they had done so in two other games during the regular season. and so this of course, a huge controversy. there's a total of six victories that san jose state has because of teams that refused to play against them. and this all started really in april when a conservative news outlet published online the identity of the player in question and referred to her as a transgender student and so, of course, after this comes out, a lot of the players and other teams were questioning whether she should be allowed to play in this championship. keep
