the emmys are not your fath area's empolice, that's true. it's not your father's emmiss, it's your holder brother's. he's the one that watched the tv online and catches other shows on the individual networks, and old-fashioned tv is attracted in two ways. "game of thrones" is a conventional show. it's significant, did well. but the thing where netflix is coming out of nowhere to get that many nomination shows that the model for the industry is it giving people shows online and will make some big waves, and the people that need to be worried is hbo, because that's their game, to throw mini on shows, and not have the accoutrements of the network. netflix was learned that lesson. snow the nominations are -- >> the nominations are a slap in the face, not one network tv drama was nom tated. >> it was humiliating. in comedy it's different. if you thing the best tv can do is drama - pbs had a few nominations. the broadcast networks were humiliated. there's six nominees or as many as six, we should say, and so many networks now putting up really str
