[laughter] i appreciate that. so i've spent, i've been in syria four times since the middle of february. three times crossing illegally, once on a visa. um, i find it's almost easier to work going in illegally. you don't have the constraints of a ministry threatening to arrest you or running the very real risk of arrest for trying to do any real reporting, um, especially now that the united nations monitors are no longer moving. um, when they were there, journalists were sort of allowed to draft off them and move around, um, and so that made it a little easier as far as freedom of movement, and we did find there was some freedom of movement if you were prepared to take risks. but then we were also detained and nearly arrested which would have been, obviously, very bad for my syrian colleagues.
