a group of residents filed a recall petition letter f district four supervisor joel engardio. they say they are frustrated over his lack of transparency to the residents in the sunset district. specifically, they say putting proposition k on the ballot, which will closeart of the great highway, was a major betrayal, so he didn't consult with the community at all when he put this thing on the ballot. it's really just one issue. i mean, it's a it's a huge act of betrayal that's going to hahave impacts for years to come. and it impacts like 20,000 drivers almost every single day that need to get to and from work. right. so yeah, he can label it as a single issue, but it's a really it's a much, much bigger problem. at the kickoff event, people came to sign the official recall petition or become a volunteer for the campaign. moving forward, volunteers will need to gather nrly 10,000 signatures to get the recall measure put on the ballot. if that happens, the department of elections will call for a special election. now, while that was happening, supporters for supervisor joel engar
