how can enroll america do more? >> we were pleased with the $20 million we were able to raise. for anyone that does fundraising , you do have the resources you need to get the job done. we do. as you noted, we are able to reach more consumers this year. the way that is done is that it is like an airplane, it takes a lot of fuel to get off the ground, but once we are at cruising altitude, we can do a lot. we can build off the foundation that we established last year. we spent a lot of time and at first building the foundation, building coalitions across the country, and where we stand today is a much bigger organization. our staff is about the same. we have over 200 people across the country. we have 4600 partner organizations we are working with. that is double where we were with april. we are at a place where we are better position than we have ever been to take on the challenges and opportunities in the next enrollment. -- next enrollment frame. >> do you think the expectations are too low for an aroma this year? >> projections are a difficult thing.

america. >> may strike you as strange, that here in 2014, with the open enrollment of the health care exchanges having just started for a second year the president is being forced to address a controversy related to comments that pertain to the construction and drafting of the affordable care act way back in the early days of his first term. but it is no fluke. because it is the legislative process that produced the law in the first place that is the heart of what many conservatives see as their last best hope to kill the affordable care act once and for all. a supreme court case call king vs. burwell and alleges, according to a single phrase in the law, lawmakers did not intend for insurance tax credits to be available in the states that rely on the federal healthcare exchange. that's 36 states right now. significantly, the supreme court did not have to take up this question at all. it was already scheduled for review by a lower court, but instead of allowing the judicial process to play out, the high court decide something unusual. they reached down into the lower court to pull the case into
