a lot of distraction when it comes to the lira, but a few weeks ago, erdogan's government stepping intrying to protect a lot of retail investors when it comes to the lira. it has for the most part helped stem some of the largest losses, though at one point today, the lira was down 5%, so it is higher for now, but the question remains, how long can that really last? alix: especially when reserves are drained. here in the u.s., right off the bat, yields spiked in the 10 year, up by about nine basis points, and the nasdaq rolled over, dropping right after the open. we have recouped some of those losses. the s&p following a very similar trajectory. the main performing the s&p, tesla. right under tesla, we are talking about the cruise lines. norwegian cruise lines, for example. the guys that cut really beat up last week doing quite well in the s&p. on the downside, moderna the worst performing stock, continues under that selling pressure we have seen for the last few weeks, down by about 7%. sector wise in the s&p, it is the cyclicals, energy, consumer discretionary, as well as financials.
