research from brookings suggests that is necessary or over time that will cause the inflation radio ever lower. you have got to allow some balance. it sounds like you're not on board with that. erics a target, not a ceiling. i am comfortable with being a little bit above or little bit below. theou look at the forecast, reserve forecast which has is hitting 2% over the next few years. if you look at the private forecasters, there are a number that are above 2% by the end of this year and beginning of next year. there are forecasters saying they are little concerned that we will be higher than just a little bit about 2%. i don't think that is likely to happen but i think we are at the point where we are pretty much at our inflation target. we pretty much hit our full employment mandate. it makes sense to have a more normalized interest rate, a rate were consistent with what we are right now. kathleen: if there was one indicator you can .2 to make you say maybe we do have to go more slowly, what would you be watching? over the indicator be? -- what with the indicator be? eric: seeing unemploymt drift up and senator found. that the sign we got to worry about labor markets being tight
