eric >> good afternoon, commissioners eric san francisco green party. first a little bit of good news and an important observation minnesota just beat out fossil futile i foul electric on price and australia just beat coal and in sonoma county they're going to introduce a foul that's cleaner than pg&es dirty power. its not just efficiency it's renewables that are an opportunity not a liability. so, now with regards to the hetch hetchy system and the climate crisis. we could be facing a 10 year drought or a permanent drought that's a real possibility. if we're going to lose itch of the generation policy of the house/senate system we better take those opportunities i've talked about and start rapid building large amaze of other renewables to have a reliable power source to sell power to our customers we'll be able to sell cheaper than pg&e. mentioning the climate crisis regardless of the fact there's an opportunity and not a liability we can't be balancing budget in the 21st century on the fragile back of the earth's atmosphere. if you listen to what scientists are saying scientists never want to make alarming statement to the public are now making alarming statement talking about possible collapse of human civilization within this century or by the end of it at least. and that means that both because of renewables are an opportunity and because we're facing the end of out of civilization we can't be cuttingy newable energy programs we need to be vastly increasing them and to cut them instead is like what the federal government is doing right now with things like informed staples and contemplating social security those are things that gives us more opportunity. we need to fully fund sf and not cut it. in the document that was presented that we - this hadn't been discussed a program that's far less expensive will give us hundreds of kilowatts n is in sf and staff is ready to put that to the side. you should know that they're getting rode to do an rfp. and that means we need you to direct our staff to likewise work with them so your department is ready to take part in clean sf and what i would say even though go solar sf and clean power sf is stand alone program and didn't effect our hetch hetchy budget the reality is if we start a about how many putting huge amounts of workings to work for the next decade we are going to create economies of scale with which the hetch hetchy enterprise can also build out at the same time lots of renewables and like i said at the beginning can develop a replacement electrical source in case hetch hetchy is not going to be book on the line >> thank you eric. >> francis 0 please. good afternoon. >> good morning and happy new year to all of you. my strengthens working inform the department of defense was in infrastructure. so i hear this long budget description and i would like to notify each and everyone of you who care for this city to go back to the regular act and to see at that time, what was destined in water and power for san francisco. as as opposed to what triefrd in the decade. the big businesses that have money they will and your commissioners, if you all have any standards, be ethics, morals you all know that sometimes you can't say much because of politics. now realistically speaking how many million dollars of globulins of clean water of hetch hetchy a leaks into our ground. we need to have the technology to monitor our pipes to get realtime results to find out about how many millions of gallons of clean water leaks into our ground and effects our watershed. now having said that, that we don't know how many people work for pu

reforms will not be the final word on the nsa. >> thank you. now to a followup on a prime suspect in the benghazi terror attack. it comes in the wake of a much publicized story that tried to discredit theories about an obama administration cover-up, theories that are gaining traction with the public. one new poll says 52% of those surveyed believe the administration deliberately misled the country over benghazi. here is fox news media analyst and host of fox's "media buzz" howard kurtz. >> reporter: when a "new york times" investigation concluded that the libyan militants had no affiliation with al qaeda or other terrorist groups, it was big news just about everywhere. >> breaking news. a bombshell report in the "new york times." it could change the debate over the deadly attack on americans in benghazi, libya >> they are purely local people their pasts are known, who they hung out with prison, who their associations are. there's no chance that this was an al qaeda attack. >> reporter: the "times" report was an ambitious effort but it left out the pentagon's assessment that the local extremist group ansar al sharia had terrorist ties. on that score the story backed obama administration officials who blame the attack largely on reaction to an american-made video denigrating islam. but a curious thing happened this week when the "washington post" reported that u.s. officials suspect a former detainee at guantanamo bay played a role in the beingsy attack and that they planned to designate his group, part of the same ansar outfit described at length in "the times" as a foreign terrorist organization but a media establishment that pounced on the "new york times" investigation showed little interest in this information. there were few mentions in other news outlets. fox news, which has aggressively pursued the benghazi story, identified the former gitmo prisoner as a suspect 16 months ago. >> the terrorist designation further weakens the reporting of the "new york times" which concluded no evidence of al qaeda involvement. >> reporter: even "the times" had to report today that the administration will stamp the terrorist label on acmad katalah, the militant interviewed by the newspapers, as a prime suspect in the attack. benghazi has been a difficult puzzle for much of the media and the "washington post" story which the paper didn't put on page one is just one piece, but it's a potentially important piece that seems to have been largely dismissed by the mainstream media. bret? >> howie, thank you. >>> the indian diplomat strip-stepped after "the examiner" analysis found the walmart plans' doctor and hospital networks far superior through those offered through the obamacare exchanges. >> because those exchange plans don't give you access to the centers of excellent like the mayo clinic, the cleveland clinic, many of the academic medical centers around the country where if you're seriously ill it may be the only place that can really help you. >> reporter: independent insurance agent in the president's hometown says the difference in chicago is substantial. roughly 9,800 doctors in the obamacare networks compared to nearly 25,000 through walmart's plans. the data could be even more relevant given the fact that by the administration's own estimate nearly 80 million people who are now on employer-sponsored plans could lose that coverage when the now delayed employer mandate kicks in. bret?
