eric shawn has the latest developments. eric?rter: jon, the sun may be shining but the power is still cut for about 700,000 people in the northeast. their anger and frustration only growing. many stunned that the power companies have not been able to completely restore service yet. connecticut as you said is the hardest hit. that is where power is not expected to be fully restored until sunday. that more than a week after the storm hit last saturday. so far about 428,000 customers in that state remain without power right now. here is the tallies around the northeast. new jersey, about 70,000 don't have juice. massachusetts they were hard hit there. 140,000 still lacking power. in new hampshire there are 30 now,000 unlucky ones. utilities say they are doing the best they can to restore power but some believe can't believe it. >> it is starting to get really annoying. it is, not to see any trucks out there is frustrating part. if you saw them out there working but i don't see them anywhere. >> i couldn't believe it happened again.
