[applause] ericka: so any kind of supremacy is based in the notion it is an education. it is, you've been educated to believe that you are the center of the universe. thatanything that contests enemy, andnce is an , iing lived through that , i've comegood way to understand that there are people who raise their children to believe that they are better than, perhaps because of their skin color. and i say it's just like that. matter it almost doesn't as you travel the globe what the skin color might look like and who might be wearing it, but later and later is always better. something i've had to think .bout a lot not that there is something wrong with the skin color that is iny has, but if it society considered a privilege, why not do good with it? [applause] ericka: why not take that goodness to the people who make a difference, who make the decisions, and do something about it? say something. as an irate catholic nun once told me, you can write a dam , and she's right. you can do anything with the people you are with, the skin you are in, and the body you've been given.

so ericka is ramping up for that. in terms of the fire department employee groups, chief worse, chief biello and myself have met with the employee groups for the first time. we've completed that. and we will -- we met with ems officers association on the 15th and we will continue meetings with each group and we're not sure if we're going to do it tri-annually or biannually. we don't know. we'll see. the new station 49, the ambulance facility gate, we have been in numerous meetings and have gotten really great working relationship with michael bard lows the artist, and it's going to the arts commission. they were going to do a few more little tweaks we asked for, but we're pretty good with it. we're great with it actually. we're really happy with it. and we'll get you the updated version when the arts commission gets back to us. so that was on the 19th we did that. so next is fire science and emt classes in high schools and communities. i met with san francisco unified school district as well as supervisor walton to di

. >> let's bring in ericka souter, editor of mom.com.hen do you know it's a problem? >> well, a lot of people think if you have a problem with alcohol it means you're slurring your words or you're fall down drunk. it doesn't always look like that so ask yourself is the drinking going beyond the social. are you drinking when you're alone and think about are you using it as a coping mechanism as we saw from the video. you know, are you drinking to get through dinnertime and naptime. are you having a bottle afterwards to relax at the end of the day and do you need it to get through the day. >> need is important. need versus want. >> exactly. >> the pressures of this mommy juice culture are very real. how do parents deal with it? >> you don't have to be a parent to get the running joke. the memes are endless. we see it all the time. you want to work on a positive relationship with yourself. now, a lot of moms have told me they drink to fill a void or mask other emotions. that's something they began to work through. some with getting sobriety
