meteorologist erika martin has the latest on conditions in the fire zone. good morning. >> the good news, yes, we have cooler temperatures in store, we do have that onshore flow, so we're seeing conditions much cooler temperatures than the past couple of days. the expected high in los angeles today is 82. we're seeing calming winds. more importantly, these gusts do have a lot of associated moisture, so not as dry, so temperatures 10 degrees to 20 degrees cooler for the next couple of days. we're trending much better. however, we do, again, have the cooler temperatures. escondido still tracking dry air for parts of the valley. 77 on monday. now coming up i do have your national forecast, meantime, dan, back to you. >> thank you. and i know they're very much looking forward this big break in california. >>> we do have a breaking story overnight, out of boston's famed fenway park, a woman somehow plunging down an elevator shaft, firefighters rushing to the scene to rescue her. abc's linzie janis is here with more. good morning. >> reporter: i just got off the

. >>> let's check the forecast now with erika martin, meteorologist from wtnh in new haven. re with a look at the weather. good morning, erika. >> good morning, everybody. now, conditions along the western seaboard is looking a lot better. we do have a cooldown here. sea surface temperatures between 50 and 60 degrees fahrenheit. the good news, much cooler conditions. fire weather is improving here. 73 for oceanside. 76 for santa barbara. and even though we do have some developing fog, we do need some moisture. so that's certainly some good news, however the same cannot be said for parts of arizona and new mexico. the texas panhandle also seeing fire weather danger. conditions will top out in the triple digits for phoenix and tucson. so, be mindful of that. conditions very dry and very gusty. gusts could reach up to 45 miles, 55 miles per hour, now, the midwest and the eastern seaboard, it's a cool start to the day. we have 38 in charleston and cincinnati. pittsburgh, 43 degrees. and we're also seeing a frost advisory issued for nine states. now, our live camera over new york
