"outfront" tonight, breaking news, a major scare in new york with a possible case of ebola. that hour a 33-year-old american doctor just back from treating ebola patients in west africa is awaiting test results at new york's bellevue hospital. the doctor is craig spencer. spencer, who he will show you, in full protective gear, this is how he was treating ebola patients, had left the country and he was helping in guinea with doctors without borders and he was rushed to the hospital in this ambulance. as you can see here, he had 103 degrees temperature, nausea and fatigue. and those are the symptoms. he returned to new york from guinea, one of the threes on the planet hardest hit by ebola. investigators are treating this case seriously because of his symptoms but because they believe he did not quarantine himself when he returned. even though he just recently treated the ebola patients, he traveled freely around the most densely populated city in america. last night he took a taxi to go

i'm erin burnett. breaking news, a deadly school shooting in washington state in the cafeteria in marysville. 35 miles north of seattle. witnesses say the student, freshman jaylen fryberg, walked up to one table, starting shooting students from behind. a young woman was killed, four others wounded and the gunman then took his own life. right now, there are three students in critical condition fighting for their lives with serious head wounds. one witness said the students were his friends, that it was not a random act. witnesses say that fryberg had recently broken up with his girlfriend. his last tweet saying, it won't last. it will never last. his social media account show him hunting, fishing, using rifles. he was announced as the homecoming prince last friday. our susan candiotti is in marysville tonight at a nearly church. susan, the story as it played out today on social media, on live television, was one of the most strange stories we have heard in a very long time in terms of their relationship

"outfront" tonight we have breaking news. cdc officials have just confirmed that amber vinson, the second dallas nurse of ebola may have had symptoms of the virus as early as last friday. that is three days earlier than previously reported. if this is true, she could have exposed many more passengers on the flight she took from dallas to cleveland on friday. a trip home where she and her bridesmaids spent hours at a crowded bridal shop. workers at the bridal shop are being monitored for symptoms. she did call cdc to report a low-grade fever on her way home. the cdc did not stop her from taking that trip. also at this hour. nina pham, the other dallas nurse with ebola is on her way to the hospital at the nationalin tute of health in bethesda, maryland. the hospital in dallas is now said not to be able to care for patients with ebola. and breaking news. dr. sanjay gupta is on the ground, and that is where vinson is. and you just talked to the doctor and what are you hearing? >> we are calling into question the time line of when

erin imyeah, this is devastating news just coming in.d healthcare worker who cared for the first ebola patient diagnosed in the united states reported a fever tuesday and was immediately isolated at a hospital. officials just confirmed that individual did test positive for the disease. those results came in around midnight. now, health officials have interviewed the latest patient to quickly identify any contacts or potential exposures and those people will be monitored. this news can comes on the heels of the cdc admitting its response to the first ebola case in texas was not sufficient. the organization also admits nina pham the nurse who contracted the disease after treating thomas eric duncan may have never fallen ill if experts had been on the ground from the very beginning. so, the cdc is vowing to change its practices to prevent another nurse or doctor from getting the disease. the cdc will now sandy rapid response team to any hospital which diagnosed an ebola patient. tuesday night the nurse's union claims that nurses from texas

erin mclaughlin is live in jerusalem. er erin, a lot of concern over what may happen today.t is the latest? >> reporter: that's right, john. you can see behind me there is a heavy police presence outside the damascus gate to the old city in east jerusalem. police set up barricades and checking people's identification as worshippers arrive to enter the site to pray. today, there are restrictions as to who can go to the noble sanctuary or temple mound. men over the age of 50 and all women allowed inside today to pray. it is the kind of restriction that has been put in place in the past through the anger of many muslims. you can see people in the past have been praying in the streets when this has happened. given today's heavy rain conditions, it will be interesting to see if that does, in fact, happen. yesterday, the site was completely closed to all worshippers for the first time in some 14 years. it was a decision that the spokesperson for the palestinian president called a declaration of war. it was a decision that israeli police and security say was taken based on intellig
