erin, talk to me about this market.hen you cut rates, typically in the following 6-12 months equity markets do well. do you think that can continue this year? >> i think so and, obviously, there are a lot of caveats in how we just, well, we can sort of be able to do the landing, the soft landing that everybody's hoping for. but i think given -- though we've had, like, a few companies give us warnings and say, look, it might be a little tougher and lowering expectations, overall, i think we're in a strong enough, stable enough economic backdrop that we're able to push through for the year end. i think one of the more, i guess the things that the i like to remind investors going through the year end is i think we'll still see continued sector rotation, and we may see change in leadership. overall, the markets will be going up, we'll still be seeing this awkward trend. there might just be a difference in leadership with -- taylor: so talk to me about that sec for rotation -- sector the rotation, because traditionally it's

joining me now, erin gibbs. erin, i've got to start with today's conversation with banks.arles: right? had some bad news on auto loans and other thing, but it was these big money-centered banks that got hit harder. coming down a little bit, but you sill like the sector. >> i do. we did get some warnings from goldman sachs and jpmorgan. look, these guys are still trading at 12 times forward earnings. yes, they're just warning investors as, basically, all these yields have been coming down, they might be making a little less money. but these guys are still well positioned. they have a nice diversified revenue from the banking and so on, and i think that at 12 times forward earning, these diversified banks like your morgan stanleys, jpmorgans, goldman sachs, these are the kind of companies you want to be in to ride out these sort of economic uncertainties we're going to see -- charles: right. and you've been in the rotation trade which has done extraordinarily well. banks are one area, real estate and industrial,. i want to ask you about this because i started the show talkin

erin thank goodness, i was getting so nervous. we wouldn't have any more debates over debates. i'm so glad we're able to have that conversation today. harris said, she'll debate on cnn october 23, trump said, it'll be too late. it what's your take here? will there be a second debate between harris and trump? >> yeah. i mean, you're exactly right. this debate over the debates is not new. this cycle. and i think that at this point with former president trump, obviously anything can change, but i think that the historical context here is pretty important in the 2020 presidential election, the last debate of the cycle nicole, was an october 22 and two former president trump's point a little bit of context there too, is that several of the people who are voting in some of these states that allow early voting. these are the people who have made up their mind, who they're gonna vote for early this year. so these are not necessarily the people that a presidential debate is really going to try to appeal to. but if there was a debate at the end of october, that could be a really critical

erin, let me start with you first. what's your reaction to those chants of send them back at you used to work for trump out. you remember a lot of these chances, some of these rallies i mean, it seems he's bringing this up almost on a daily basis and spreading the same lies about these migrants on a daily basis is almost like his campaign these days is on a foundation of horse manure. when it comes to this issue, why does he keep doubling down? >> donald trump always doubles down. he never backs down. this has always been his strategy. those chants are inappropriate and donald trump is really missing the opportunity here. and so are republicans if you want to talk about immigration and specifically if you want to talk about the executive action taken versus the legislative work that would need to be done to fix the immigration system. let's have that serious policy conversation because what is referencing when they're talking about and to your point, that haitian migrants are here legally is through executive action. i
