"action news" reporter erin o'hearn has the update live from the satellite center. erin. >> reporter: matt, you're right, we just received new details on this shooting. police have now confirmed that two of the five people who were shot were teenagers. a 14-year-old girl was shot in the right foot, a 14-year-old boy was shot in the right leg. three adult men were also hit as a barrage of bullets were fired into a group of people who were according to police just talking to friends and playing on the basketball court. according to neighbors, the gun shots rang out from the 800 block of kellman street around midnight and everyone ran for cover. all of the victims are listed in stable condition in an area hospital. this is an ongoing investigation with no word of any suspects or any motive yet. so, police are urging anyone with information to call them immediately and we've posted that number on our web site, 6abc.com. i'm erin o'hearn, live in the satellite center and back to you. >> thank you erin. >>> also new from the overnight police believe a neighborhood dispute

"action news" reporter erin o'hearn is live in the satellite center with more details. >> reporter: nydia, israel in no uncertain terms has blamed hamas for the disappearances and deaths of these three teens and the israeli air force has carried out air strikes on more than terror targets along the gaza strip and there are signs that a significant escalation of israeli operations in gaza may be under way. the three bodies were found northwest of hebron. an ambulance and military escort brought the bodies of the three israeli teens back to their homes last night. the three boys were hiking and then kidnapped 18 days ago. last night in tel aviv israelis held a candlelight vigil. the teens' death has sparked international outrage and israel has vowed to make hamas pay for the killing. >> we have a very responsible and serious leadership in jerusalem and they will make the decisions that he have to make in order to send a very strong message to hamas that this action is unacceptable and to take the action that they deem necessary in order to protect and defend our population

erin o'hearn has video of the incident and new details. erin. >> reporter: good morning, matt.his video that was captured by a security camera in the area is both incredible and horrifying. take a look at this. you can see the food truck right there and then it really just trance forms into a huge ball of fire. 11 people were injured. several cars were charred and utility pole was set on fire. now, this is a photograph of the mother and daughter who were inside the food truck. 42-year-old olga and 17 year old jalen and they suffered serious burns on more than 50 percent of their bodies. i just spoke to a nurse in the burn unit in an area hospital and the two remain in critical condition. a family member says she had just recently opened the food truck for business. >> so, her whole dream was to open a truck and she opened it and she was doing actually very good job and it's crazy how this just happened. >> i ran right up to help the lady on the floor. at that time she was just laying there on her back with her hands in the air just like stuck and as i looked over, there was ano

"action news" reporter erin o'hearn is live at the big board. she's got more on the story. , erin. >> good morning, tam. take a look at these pictures because these are the weapons that police say that passenger was armed with. 4bb guns which certainly look real and three butcher knives. now luckily this story ended well thanks to the vigilance of the female passenger on that train. she contacted police around 10 o'clock last night as the train was traveling northbound from the ellsworth station and she reported that a man on board was carrying a cache of weapons. police monitored the suspect on closed circuit tv. he got off at the city hall stop and walked to love park. well, that's when a detective had a confrontation with the suspect. that detective subdued him and took him into custody and he faces numerous firearms possession charges. you often hear law enforcement say if you see something, say something. that's exactly what happened in this case and septa is crediting this attentive female passenger with helping them to be proactive in keeping riders safe. tam back to

"action news" reporter erin o'hearn is live at the big board with the full story. . >> matt, a frightening and gruesome discovery yesterday by a man who police say was picking through the trash near a vacant home on north third street in kensington. investigators say say among the garbage oh found a duffle bag and inside it was a body of a hispanic woman who police believe was about 23 years old. her arms were bound with duck tape. this happened around 5:00 a.m. yesterday morning and about two hours earlier homicide detectives say a car was found torched on the 1600 block of brace street in south philadelphia behind some homes and a warehouse. police are trying to determine if that car belonged to the woman. nancy are understandably on edge as they wait to get more answers about who this woman was and why she fell victim to such a horrendous crime. >> i'm terrified. like i love to walk, get out walk my dogs and all. it's scary this world. what is the world coming to. >> we want to make sure what's going on. honestly we don't know. our community is nervous at this ti

"action news" reporter erin o'hearn is live at the big board with the full story. in. >> reporter: matt, this is horrendous news coming out of reading. investigator say this young mother became frustrated with her infant's crying and while violently trying to get him to settle down injured him so badly he died days later. 20 year old myra smith is behind bars charged with third degree murder for the death of her 11 month old son jeremiah rivera. police say back in may first responders were dispatched to a home in reading where they found little jeremiah unresponsive. the alleged abuse occurred a few days earlier. court documents say smith admited to forcefully grabbing her son off the floor and squeezing him near his stomach when he wouldn't stop crying. and smith is eight months pregnant and is now behind bars on $750,000 bail. investigators say they will seek justice for her little boy. tam. >> hard story. thank you, erin. >>> developing out of the middle east israel has hit the gaza strip hard today with air strikes after hamas rejected an egyptian ceasefire prop
