"action news" reporter katherine scott is live outside philadelphia police headquarters with the full story. katherine. >.>> reporter: matt, the victim in this home invasion remains in critical condition at the hospital. police say it's too early to know if he's going to survive his injuries. his wife was threatened, his three young children were upstairs as this was all going on. police were able to speak with the victim's wife so they got a good idea about what happened last night in southwest philadelphia and police were called to the scene and they did get some evidence including a shell casing from a large caliber semi-automatic weapon and they also discovered another weapon on the porch of the home that police believe the suspects may have dropped while they were fleeing. just after 11 o'clock last night, police were called out
