for those that might have missed this in "politico," ernest moniz, rock star. >> i hadn't seen that. you. i do have a couple questions because the quadrennial energy report states that it is essential to promote more timely permitting decisions and explains that there's a gap between typical permitting times for energy generation and production sources and a much longer time for midstream energy infrastructure. the report goes on to say that legal requirements for the permitting and review of major infrastructure projects have created complex processes that in some cases have taken years or longer to complete. so i'm glad that the administration is acknowledging that the federal permitting process is broken. but i do have concerns about some of the recommendations to fix it. the administration recommends more permitting fees more coordination among federal agencies, more public engagement, but it really -- the administration doesn't make mention of establishing deadlines for permit decisions. it doesn't mention repealing duplicative permitting regulations. it doesn't mention limiting
