smashed glass and mangled fence at essington avenue. someone stole two vehicles from family dodge around 2:00 a.m. they are still at the scene investigating. >>> a fear fires consumes a west philadelphia buildings leaving a man dead. crews worked into the overnight hours searching for a cause. annie mccormick is live on the scene on the 300 block of north 64th street. annie. >> reporter: matt, this was an intense fire that took 45 minutes to get under control. take a look at what is left behind me. you can see on the second floor there, that is where firefighters focused most of their attention. a viewer captured this video with the sound of what sounds like an explosion, take a listen. and fire crews say that could have been something inside the home at the time of the fire, like compressed gas cylinders, possibly an oxygen tank. the blaze began at 8:30 p.m. on the 300 block of north 54th street. 50 personnel and 11 units arrived on the scene. when firefighters got here they saw flames on the second floor of the three story store front
