the man identified by poli as 25-year-old ethan rincone. ey say around 9:30 last night neighbors called police about him. police described his behavior as violent with that pick ax. the man had gone inside after officers arrived. when they went inside, we're told three officers confronted this suspect, the 25-year-old who lunged at them according to investigators with that pick ax. here is what police detectives had to say when w w spoke to them overnight. >> officers responded because of neighbors calling in. we have approximately about six vehicles with shattered windows and tired that have been blown actions, erratic actions he had. >> rorter: that will be the big question this morning. what led to that behavior, the man with the pick ax destroying the neighbors' property. investigators continue with this in palmetto bay. as far as the officers, none of them have been named. we know each of them have between 18 d 21 years' experience with miami-dade police. for nowlive in palmetto bay, michael spears, nbc 6 news. >>> also, south florida
