eureka 57-degrees. 90s from sacramento valley. high pressure coming in from the southwest will come over us. that smashes the fog. it is fog more so than low cloud. we don't have a north or northeast wind. we have a component of a westerly breeze. patchy fog some thick. it will come back tonight into tomorrow morning. temperatures from the 60s, 70s, 80s on the coast. 80s around the bay and mid 90s to near 100-degrees well inland. more of the same tomorrow. the coast doesn't warm up that much. the coast begins to cool down saturday. everybody cools down sunday and is cooler for all by monday. >> this is a familiar pattern we have been seeing. >> we get a couple days of heat and then it comes back down. >>> nearly 100 low income children from san francisco are on their way to camp in the santa cruz mountains courtesy of the salvation army. they took ace in the annual send off picnic. they will send five days near scott's valley. >> they get to swim. they get to hike. they get to do archery. it is a fantastic camp. they have a blast.

valley, sacramento. fresno, redding. but again the closer you get to the moderating impact of the pacific, 60s. places like monterey and eurekand out why we are seeing -- the weather we are. first things first it is hot because we have high pressure in place that will keep things warm. today is the last day of this kind of i wouldn't call it a heat wave it is not that hot but triple digits. hot for some people. we have this trough this cooler air moving down out of the gulf of alaska that will take over the next couple days and drop those temperatures beef up that marine layer, we will see cooler temperatures through much of the workweek. we have coastal cloud cover and valley heat. yesterday we had enough on shore flow coastal clouds ushered their way into the valley. today the flow is more northerly, that will clear out those coastal clouds and fog and warm up, a little bit more than we did yesterday. so if yesterday was too warm get ready for a little bit warmer today. low 90s from the warmest spots in south bay, morgan hill, 80s san jose, santa clara, 60s along the coast plenty of upper 70s for the peninsula. east bay tha
