eureka valley 54. pee troy yeah hill 54. and cole valley which can be cold is not.an francisco forecast now yesterday was 70. i just went 68 because i think the higher clouds but a 70 or 71 or 72 would not surprise me at all. some of these temperatures that are showing up a few locations. livermore 47 degrees. and some areas speaking of livermore will go for 75 on a high today. but it drops pretty fast as you know. but still temperatures in the mild category for many today because we get that easterly breeze. although the higher clouds holding the lows up. a lot of rain in the midwest. south wind at 25 and fog. pacific northwest starting to get some rain. 26 in tahoe. 44 ukiah. that is definitely up compared to 46 in clearlake. those are much warmer because of the cloud deck. warm today even though we get the higher clouds. the east wind will hold. that will keep temperatures on the mild side. san francisco down to santa cruz. a little cooler pattern will take us into saturday though. a mix of sun and clouds today. an easterly breeze. some of the higher clouds drift

eureka valley 54. its off to am very mild start in san francisco.ficially 54 last time i checked. we will go for a high today of 68 would not surprise me one bit if there were a couple 70s. 40s on some of these temps or 50s. 52 oakland. 50 hayward. a lot of 40s. its so sad to drift apart. but mix of sun and clouds. easterly breeze. high clouds. 70s for some. upper 60s for others. here is sal. >>> steve, we are looking at what could be a problem in san francisco. although since i last spoke to you it looks like the crash is on the shoulder northbound 101 coming up from the candle stick area right into san francisco. its closer to caesar chavez so right here. but its on the shoulder. you know there is not much of a shoulder there. if its there for much longer, it could create a problem. for right now we will give the benefit of the doubt and say traffic is okay. however there is a new crash northbound 280 reported at caesar chavez here. this one here as you drive toward king street. so we will keep an eye on both of those problems. not actually great

eureka valley, lower haight, potrero hill, 50s. higher clouds. it will be a little warmer today for some. especially towards, i think santa cruz, which i went for 80 degrees down there because they do have an offshore breeze. the east breeze should hold everything in check. mostly sunny, partly sunny at times. but 60 to 80. many locations will be in the low to mid-70s of the here's sal -- mid-70s. here's sal. >>> all right. the chp says there were two separate crashes. that motorcycle you see right there was driving down and may have hit some concrete debris as a result of the crash. the newschopper2 is about to show us it as he pans left. you can see the original crash northbound on 101. we're coming up to it here. it was an injury crash. it took out some of the guardrail, yore turned vehicle -- overturned vehicle. meanwhile, some of the debris from the guardrail came up into the other lanes and then there was a motorcycle crash going the other way. got that. that means two directions of 101 are going to be very, very slow because of this crash.
