the times reports that another trump lawyer, evan corcoran, summonedmiss bobb to trump's residence on june 3rd. and quote, asked her to sign a statements for the department that the trump legal team had conducted a diligent search of mar-a-lago. and found only a few files that had not been returned to the government. miss bobb met with justice department lawyers in washington on friday. times reports quote, she told them that another trump lawyer, boris epstein, contacted her the night before she signed the attestation, and connected her with mr. corcoran. miss bobb who was living in florida told that she needed to go to mar-a-lago the next day to deal with it an unspecified matter from mr. trump. mr. corcoran, she told the justice department had walked her through had he had conducted a search of a storage facility at mar-a-lago, for the documents. she said she had believed at the time she signed the attestation in june that it was accurate according to a person of knowledge with the situation. each of these legal twists and turns in the investigation of donald trump, it's bringing u

that's jim trusty, evan corcoran and lindsay haligan.e the chief judge in the d.c. courthouse with the legal team, the justice department's legal team that is handling the investigation into these documents at mar-a-lago. they would not tell us. we asked them, they would not tell us what compact exactly th discussing. but this is happening inside the sealed courtroom. we were not allowed in there. and we know this was really the backdrop of all of this is the justice department's push for trump to turn over whatever additional documents at least the justice department believes are still missing and may still be in the possession of the former president. they have continued to maintain that they believe there continues to be government documents that are missing and they want the former president to figure out whether they are still in possession at one of his properties and how to turn them back over to the federal government. again, we don't know exactly what went down in this court -- in this court hearing today, but it was before the

. >> hugo, you mentioned trump lawyers and in fact on thursday, evan corcoran, jim trusty, they were a d.c. judge. what was that all about? >> we understand that to be -- the doj's national security division has been in talking with -- they are saying, we still believe that there may be more documents that are yet to have been returned to the government. that conference in the d.c. district court appears to have been around that issue. there is a lot of loose ends that are yet to be resolved here. whether it's with the special master, whether it's about the outstanding documents, potentially other locations, other trump places, we don't know. as well as testimony from various trump aides. we understand that was one of those areas to be discussed. >> interesting, lisa, hang on a second because corcoran trusting him, they make up three fourths of trump's core legal team. does it tell you anything that all three went to this hearing? >> it does really tell me anything more or less. i think what you're asking, alex, is is it significant that chris wasn't there? we don't know. sometimes p

evan corcoran alleged all documents had been returned. they may turn out not to be true.out having gold markets at mar-a-lago. to your point, it feels like in your instance the obstruction may very well made up of some of these fact patterns. >> absolutely. and the obstruction really -- the obstruction seems to be about donald trump's own actions. we've seen in the reporting that he packed some of the boxes himself, that he knew what was in them, and he was potentially making misrepresentations to his own lawyer. from the justice department's point of view, this is not an issue of whether or not his legal team was not being straight with the department. it's really an issue of whether or not donald trump himself was being straight with the department. now one of the questions that arises for prosecutors is what to do with information like, for example, the fact that christina bobb did sign a document that while she hedged a bit in her language, the document implies that everything was returned. does the department then lean on those lawyers to see whether or not they can
