evan what do you know? >> the end is near or the end of this phase, that is, we expect that the attorney general bill barr is going to announce in the next week or so that the mueller investigation is over and that he has a report, a confidential report from the mueller team and then, of course, he is going to repair his own report that he will send to congress. what that report looks like, the contours, what will be included, that i think is still up in the air because we don't know how mueller is going to do this. there is some thinking inside the justice department that perhaps the attorney general should send over one page and say, look, these are indictments we did and that's the end of the story. a one-page summary, if you will. saying that's how bill barr would do this. and that won't fly with members of congress so he'll go over this report and prepare something that he hinted at during his recent hearing on capitol hill where he said that he knows there's a responsibility to tell the public somethi

at that same time and in parallel, the agency just acquired the property at 1550 evans with the initial intention to house all the wastewater operation folks together but recognizing the unique opportunity we had, we decided to embark on a nine-month, multi-pronged stakeholder process to ask their preference to continue on oakdale or embark on building a new center at 1550 evans. the results were clear but i'd lake to take a moment to recap for you all what we did in the engagement process. again, it was nine months. we had four key strategies where we focussed on grassroots outreach knocking on over 2500 doors. we partnered with over 1600 community organizations to get a diversity of input. we cultivated a lot of followers and people chimed in to tell us their opinion of how we're doing and lastly cultivating a group of community leaders who followed us during the nine months deeply. the there was the southeast commission and committees an community leaders. and the next slide is a quick snapshot of the community partners i spoke of but the results speak for themselves. the main findin

i'm shelby campbell, the project manager for 1550 evans. you've heard a great deal about the engagement process for the community center at 1550 evans. now let me tell you what we've accomplished to ready the project for construction. here's a timeline for what we've accomplished over the last two years, and what's next. i'll go through this in greater detail during the presentation, but to summarize, in 2017, we began the planning process, and by year end, we had the building program, site plans and floor plans completed and approved. we celebrated with the unvailing of the site plan at the sccs's annual holiday event. in 2018, we proceeded with design of the building architecture and site landscaping. we completed civic design review phase one and two, and zoning for the site to allow for the project's proposed uses of the site, and we issued an rfqp for a cmgc in august. we worked with the community and secf staff throughout the planning process. the priorities established for the new community center included to create a place of destin

first, we're going to hear from clay bonnyman evans. clay is a prolific journalist and writer, the l.a. times, many journals and magazines. he's got three books to his credit, more than i can name but i wanted to specifically mention his latest, "bones of my grandfather - reclaiming a lost hero of ww ii". which was published this summer. clay is the only living grandson of first lieutenant alexander bonnyman jr. a medal of honor recipient for his heroic actions performed at the battle of tarawa 75 years ago this month. alexander bonnyman was killed on tarawa november 22nd, 1943. his story is featured in a panel in the museum's permanent exhibit gallery on the battle of tarawa, in the island hopping gallery of our road to tokyo. as a volunteer with the nonprofit history flight, clay worked to find the missing remains of marines on tarawa, and he was present in 2015 when his grandfather's remains along with over 40 other marines, were located and recovered in a trench on tarawa. clay brought his grandfather home for burial with full milit
