according to immediate family, they identified the mother as evelyn garcia and said she and her two children, ages one and four, were from guatemala and had been living at these apartments with their father. fremont police say he is not a suspect. in fact, police say there is no threat to the community. the children's father was on scene earlier today, packing up small personal possessions and asked for privacy. as for the initial 911 call on monday, police say they came to the 40,000 block of inglewood common around 1 p.m. because there was a call for help from inside the apartment. neighbors off camera say they often saw the two young children playing outside. people tell me they never imagined seeing so many police, adding, this is a family friendly apartment complex. you see kids running around all the time and, you know, it's just a really nice neighborhood. and it's just shocking to you find out something like this happen like next door. you don't really expect it. you know, and again, the last thing anyone expected was for these three people to pass away. of course, police again sayin
