family who have made a difference of the past years and truly exemplifies this type of employee every city park department would love to have, and all three are retiring. i want to start with joe faulkner. the career that began in 1973, only one year before his father retired from the city in 1974. together they represent over 76 years of continuous family history working with the city. as a kid he picked up golf balls for joey wright. he was accomplished golfer in his own right. he is a two-time men's championship and they are family tournament champions until did you had to leave the golden gate golf course. he was a gardener at lincoln park for 11 years and has taken care of the golden gate park golf course for the past 17 years, keeping it maintained a high level, even though he endured a much publicized scandals last year. his work for the mx tournament 2005 and charles schwab cup in 2010, a pledge of event that it held in san francisco. joe is married to his beautiful wife carol, and their three children. joe is looking forward to retirement planning a little bit more golf and sting
