jonathan ferro caught up with ecb governor ewald nowotny.he austrian central-bank governor. we asked him about the potential for qe from the ecb. >> there's unanimous support at the governing council to take extraordinary measures, unconventional measures if we see that our mandate demands it. is that we arew not there at the moment. i do not see an immediate need. but within our mandate, yes, we are prepared to do some unconventional measures. it is much too early to discuss this in detail. >> let's talk to jonathan ferro, he sat down with ewald nowotny. a number of takeaways. some of them tacit, some of them not so tacit. walk us through what you got from the conversation. >> just from that, you expect ecb, but he does not see it right now. the segue for the morning -- the take away for the morning, it is like the ecb has played everything they've got. nothing left in their hands. soon,not coming anytime they are talking about the possibility of an asset purchase program. particularly on the issue of the exchange rate and the euro, how muc
