ewan mcgregor is with us.>> yeah. >> mike: what can you tell us about "obi-wan kenobi" the series? >> well, no, i mean, it's supposed to be ten years after the end of episode iii. i always thought there must be a great story between the last episode i made and alec guinness in episode iv in "the new hope." and i was right. we found a really good story to tell in that time frame. so it's ten years after the end of episode iii. you know, we've seen me at the end of episode iii take luke skywalker to uncle owen and aunt beru on tatooine. that's another story. i take the baby there and drop him off. this is ten years later. and the jedi order has all but been destroyed. everyone else who wasn't destroyed in order 66 is in hiding. so i've been, you know -- and i'm carrying the guilt, or obi-wan is carrying the guilt of having failed anakin and lost anakin to the dark side. so he's a bit of a -- he's a bit of a mess, you know. he's at a very low point. >> mike: yeah. >> and sort of in hiding. he's not being a jedi.
