he has walked 23 and struck out 65 which are excellent numbers. and 4 base hits. and holding opponents to a .219 batting average. a year away you think? >> well, could be. i think the orioles are going to have to take a chance on him pretty soon whether it be at the end of this season or the beginning of next year. he's everything rick was talking about. he is big, he's strong, he's got very good mechanics. he's got four very good pitches. of all of the good young pitchers that the orioles have, i think this guy's got the best chance of being the ace of the staff. you give him a couple years of experience and i think he'll take over that role if he stays healthy. the i think thing i like the most right over the top good hard fastball, good rising football. he can make it move but he's got a very good off speed pitches to go with it. the good curve ball. very good slider. doesn't use it as much and an excellent change up. this is what keeps hitters off balance. i'm surprised they found some way to beat him three times so far this season. but in the minor leagues th
