the inquiry institute at the exploratorium. so we have had this partnership with the exploratorium in the past. being in the exploratorium space next year had will allow us to try out some different kinds of lessons, experiences, learn experiences for our students and bring some of those idea s back after our renovations are complete. we have been looking for how to create that space and if we're able to occupy the exploratorium it would really fill a need for our skill that has been around a long time. in addition to developing our students intellectually through academic programs and inquiry learning experiences we're committed to developing the socioemotional skills for our students. we want students to develop into empathetic and caring individuals. we're committed to being excellent stewards of the exploratorium site, preserving the outdoor spaces for public use and provide something use for the public as required in the lease; of the internal space as well. and again, we're very, very excited with the possibility of this

what better place for new teachers to learn than the exploratorium. the students and head teachers also benefit. students see teamwork and collaboration modeled on a daily basis. i know as a head teacher working with an intern i was kept accountability and the no so veiled secret in order for to us have a strong teacher training program we need effective teacher-trainers and mentors. our faculty is comprised of such individuals. 147 men and women have completed the two-year program. many have gone on to teach not just in private schools, but public schools and international schools. others have gone on to become malloors, program directors and entrepreneurs. i love being a teacher and i love working with new teachers and i want to be part of the new teacher innocent [stao-uts/] at town school. it would be a wonderful opportunity to work with new teachers in the exploratorium space. thank you. >> thank you. >> next speaker >> good morning commissioners. my name is tammy leong and i have a daughter and two sons. my older son graduated from town in 2010
