bob orr has had a look at the f.b.i.'s report. >> reporter: the findings from former fbi director william webster say fbi agents missed obvious warning signs that accused anial hasan presentsed a potential danger. webster's report concludes individuals who handle the hasan information made mistakes. investigators conducted more than 100 interviews and reviewed more than 10,000 pages of documents. including 18 e-mails, the exchange between hasan and radical cleric anwar al-awlaki. in one of the e-mails he wrote, "i would assume that a suicide bomber whose aim is to kill enemy soldiers and helpers but also kills innocents in the process is acceptable." other e-mails were more benign. when hasan asked for help in finding a wife, awlaki responded: hasan wrote 16 of the e-mails and awlaki only responded twice. f.b.i. agents ultimately decided hasan, a u.s. army doctor, was not a real threat. but there was a disconnect. f.b.i. agents from san diego saw all 18 e-mails. while their counterparts at the washington field office, or
