the faa is now using that kind of test.own research institute said the test wasn't ready. they hired an outside firm to do this test. the test was not valid. the faa says it was valid. they won't produce the validity studies, and it was not valid. there's a meeting that took place in july of 2014 where someone from the company that wrote the test talks about it not being ready after they've already started using it. so at the end of the day, you have a test which if it were valid would make sense, but it's not. so people are getting in who are failing out of the program. it's not saving money, it's not any more diverse, and in the process of trying to become more diverse, they threw out african-american, hispanic-american, asian-american and native american candidates who would have been qualified and had already scored exceptionally high on the harder cognitive ability test. charles: so it backfired. >> oh, in a big way. charles: people were actually helping other people cheat. >> that's what we uncovered. charles: right.
